KYC & AML Policy

Identity verification and anti-money laundering procedures.

Last updated: June 19, 2026

1. Purpose

Gemini Presale is committed to preventing money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, and other financial crimes. This KYC/AML Policy describes the steps we take to verify the identity of participants and monitor activity on our platform. This policy applies to all US users.

2. Customer Identification

Before completing certain actions, such as large purchases or token distributions, we may require you to provide:

  • Full legal name and date of birth
  • Residential address and country of residence
  • Government-issued photo ID (passport, driver’s license, or state ID)
  • Proof of address (utility bill, bank statement, or similar document)
  • A live selfie for liveness verification

3. Verification Process

KYC documents are submitted through your dashboard. Our team reviews submissions within 1-2 business days. We may request additional information if the submitted documents are unclear, expired, or incomplete. Verification status is shown in your dashboard.

4. Risk-Based Approach

We apply a risk-based approach to KYC. Higher purchase amounts or suspicious activity may trigger enhanced due diligence. We may delay or reject transactions that we cannot adequately verify.

5. Record Keeping

We retain KYC records and transaction history for the period required by applicable US AML laws and regulations. Records are stored securely and are accessible only to authorized compliance personnel.

6. Monitoring and Reporting

We monitor platform activity for unusual or suspicious patterns. Where required by law, we will file reports with relevant authorities and cooperate with law enforcement investigations. We do not notify users when such reports are filed.

7. Prohibited Persons

Persons on US sanctions lists, persons located in prohibited jurisdictions, and persons known to be involved in illegal activity are not permitted to use the platform. We reserve the right to freeze allocations and terminate accounts of prohibited persons.

8. Policy Updates

We may update this KYC/AML Policy to reflect changes in law, technology, or risk. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
